12 June 2026 near Hamburg

The official rally start will take place near Hamburg. Each team will receive their road book at the start.

The event will begin at approximately 10:00 a.m., with the official start taking place between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

On the evening before, all adventurers can get to know each other at the pre-start meeting and get in the mood for the adventures ahead with food and drinks. The pre-start meeting begins at approximately 6:00 p.m.

We will announce the official venues one month in advance.

All other adventurers, friends and fans are of course also welcome to attend the start event and the pre-start meeting.

20 June 2026 near Kristiansand

Near Kristiansand, we will celebrate the successful finish of the Viking Sun Adventure Rally with a big closing event and, of course, an award ceremony.

At the finish line, every Scandinavian adventurer will receive their finisher's certificate and medal.

You will find the exact finish location in the road book.

• Pre-start event & rally camp on the pre-start day with food & welcome drink
• Official rally start near Hamburg with roadbook handover
• Joint events with all rally teams on the route in extraordinary locations:
  • Time trial on a race track
  • Midsummer festival & rally camp in the enchanting Scandinavian countryside with food & welcome drink
• Finish & rally camp in Kristiansand with refreshments & welcome drink
  • Award ceremony and closing event, as well as presentation of the Viking Sun finisher certificate & medal
• Roadbook: Each team has the chance to immerse themselves even deeper in the adventure by completing tasks in their roadbook. The Roadbook Competition includes:
  • Special route guidance with spectacular routes on each stage
  • Various daily tasks
  • Road Missions
  • Action Stations
  • Secret Missions
  • Detour Missions
  • Each team will receive the roadbook at the start.
• Winners of the Roadbook Competition:
  • 1st place: A starting spot for a SAC rally of your choice worth EUR 1,600
  • 2nd place: A rally voucher worth EUR 800
  • 3rd place: A rally voucher worth EUR 400
• Rally kit with everything you need for an official rally:

  • Each team will receive the rally kit two weeks before the start.

• Not included in the registration fee: Accommodation, meals, ferries, tolls, and technical support in case of breakdowns are generally to be paid for by the team itself.

Collect 250€ for great charity projects. All possible – nothing required!
The money can go to projects that we have carefully vetted to ensure that all contributions go where they should—to the people who truly need them. Or you are free to pick a charity project that has always been dear to your heart.
Charity donations can be collected any time from the date you sign up to the moment you cross the Finish Line. More

At the start of the rally, your team will receive the roadbook, packed with great stage suggestions, extraordinary tasks, fun & lots of adventure. You will also find all the information about the Meet & Greet Points and the official SAC Rally party on the road in the roadbook.
The tasks and adventures have to be solved in the best possible way with your team until the finish. Creativity and the improvisation talent are the trump cards here.
But the roadbook tasks are not obligatory! Always according to the motto: All possible! Nothing required.
The team that collects the most roadbook points with all the missions & challenges wins the roadbook competition and as the winner not only receives a standing ovation but also a ticket for a SAC adventure rally of its choice at the festive award ceremony during the closing event.

To give you and your team enough time to share your adventures with the other teams on the way through Scandinavia, we will have an official party stop on the tour. At the official SAC Rally Party all teams will pitch their tents together. Of course you can also spend the night there in your own rally bus or truck. Overnight stays in nearby guesthouses or hotels are also possible!

In Southern Norway we will celebrate the successful end of the Viking Sun Adventure Rally with a big closing event and of course an award ceremony. Where exactly the events will take place, you will find out in the roadbook.
