The Gentlemen

The Hackney Gentlemen’s Racing Club is a team of fine and upstanding gentlemen who reside in the London borough of Hackney… or at least we used to until we moved. In fact, come to think of it, we have a fairly weak claim to the status of gentlemen; we do not race, as such; and, being as there is only two of us, ‘club’ seems rather a misleading description. So, in truth, we are two chancers with an old car, a taste for adventure and ambitions above our station.
