UK Rallye - Ferry connections

To ease your preparations, we gathered some information and tips about the ferry-connectionsto the UK

  1. The teams are asked to organise their ferry rides self-reliant.
  2. You do not necessarily have to take the ferry from Calais to Doverto set foot on the island. Two additional possibilities are listed below.
  3. Generally, it is no problem to book the next departing ferry directly in Calais. Booking in advance is not mandatory.
  4. On the 11th of May, all teams will have crossed the starting line in Brussels by 12.30 p.m. The first roadbook challenges will not need to be solved before arriving England.
  5. In case you would like to book a ferry in advance, you have to plan by yourself how long the drive to Calais/Dunkirk takes you.
  6. On the first stage, in Continental-Europe you are free to use the highways.
  7. The advantage of booking the ferry tickets in advance is the lower price. The disadvantage is the loss of flexibility.
  8. DFDSprovides a special offer for all teams of the Knights of the Island rally. The discount codes can be found below.
